Chevy Impala Trouble Spots

Consumer Guide's® Auto Editors have scoured repair bulletins and questioned mechanics to search for commonly occurring problems for the Chevy Impala. Their findings are listed below and the need for Chevy Impala extended warranties is evident. While we believe the Impala is a well built automobile, we were dismayed at the number of repair visits drivers needed during their time of ownership.

Chevy Impala extended warranties will protect against GM factory labor rate increases too. As many of us already know, GM service facilities have raised their shop labor rate for mechanics. The truth is, GM dealerships nationwide have raised their labor rates every year in the last five. Chevy parts prices are near the highest in the domestic auto industry too.
